Communal harmony has always been at the heart of the initiatives led by CFHRSW (Communal Harmony and Religious Syncretism Wing). With unwavering support from the National Foundation of Communal Harmony and the generous contributions of the public, we have been able to organize a series of meaningful events that foster unity, peace, and mutual respect among diverse communities. Here’s a look at some of our most impactful programs that have brought people together in the spirit of brotherhood.

Inter-Community Deepawali Milan: A Festival of Togetherness
One of our flagship initiatives, the Inter-Community Deepawali Milan, has been a beautiful celebration of unity during the festival of lights. Communities from different walks of life come together to share joy, exchange greetings, and strengthen bonds. The event has grown into a cherished tradition, with vibrant participation reflected in our extensive events gallery—a testament to the power of collective celebration.

Inter-Community Dialogue: Voices of Unity
In 2005, during the “Communal Harmony Week,” CFHRSW hosted its third significant event—an Inter-Community Dialogue at Suchana Kendra (Information Centre) in Jaipur. The event was graced by the presence of Rajasthan’s then-Home Minister, Mr. Gulab Chand Kataria, as the Chief Guest. Esteemed dignitaries, including former Governor Mr. Navrand Tibrewal, former Deputy Secretary of State Mr. Ganesh Narayan Vyas, and religious leaders from Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, and Christianity, also joined us.

The dialogue began with an “All Faith Prayer,” setting the tone for an inspiring exchange on unity and brotherhood. Prominent individuals who have worked tirelessly for communal harmony were honored with mementos and certificates, recognizing their invaluable contributions to society.

National Unity Mushaira: Poetry for Peace
The year 2006 kicked off with the National Unity Mushaira on September 7th at Suchana Kendra, Jaipur. This event coincided with the centenary of Vande Mataram, adding a layer of patriotic fervor to the evening. The venue was adorned with a grand Toran gate, rangoli at the entrance, and a warm welcome by two elephants, boy scouts, and girl guides who presented rose flowers to every guest. Over 460 people from various religious backgrounds attended this soul-stirring gathering.

Eminent poets recited their verses, filling the air with Sher-o-Shairy that echoed themes of love, peace, and harmony. Pamphlets spreading the message of unity were distributed widely, and several individuals were felicitated for their efforts in promoting communal harmony. A prior survey conducted across seven districts of Rajasthan, with 177 participants (including 70 women), debunked myths surrounding Vande Mataram. The findings revealed that the controversy dividing communities was baseless, as Muslims expressed no objections to the anthem being chanted in schools—a powerful insight that reinforced our mission.

Deepawali Milan Samaroh: Bridging Communities
The Deepawali Milan Samaroh has been another cornerstone of our efforts to promote communal harmony. Leading up to the event, numerous meetings were held across Jaipur to highlight the significance of festivals like Deepawali Milan, Eid Milan, and Christmas Milan in fostering unity. On the last Thursday of Ramzan, an extraordinary gesture unfolded at Jama Masjid in Jaipur. Namazis greeted their Hindu brothers with sweets and flowers, extending heartfelt “Happy Deepawali” wishes. The Secretary of Jama Masjid joined in, presenting flowers to Hindu participants.

This event saw an overwhelming turnout of over 800 people. To amplify the message of harmony, 5,000 stickers and pamphlets were distributed, carrying words of peace and unity that resonated far beyond the gathering.

A Collective Vision for Harmony
These events are more than just gatherings—they are a reflection of our shared commitment to building a society where differences in faith and culture unite rather than divide. With the financial backing of the National Foundation of Communal Harmony and the enthusiastic support of the people, CFHRSW continues to pave the way for a future rooted in mutual respect and understanding.

As we move forward, we invite everyone to join us in this noble pursuit—because communal harmony isn’t just an ideal; it’s a way of life we can all embrace.
